Effective October 30, 2026. This page explains what the site collects and what we do with it.
This policy describes the VeteranMOS website at veteranmos.com, accounts on that site, consult requests, and files uploaded for a plan. VeteranMOS is a private firm. It is not part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Depending on what you use, that can include your name, email, phone, city, state, branch of service, claim type, conditions you select, notes, and the plan you purchase. A consult or contact form collects the fields on that form. An account collects the profile you save. If you upload a file, we receive that file and its name, type, and size.
You can create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google or X. Those services send us the basic account details needed to sign you in, such as your name and email. We do not receive your password from Google or X.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. VeteranMOS does not store your card number. Stripe receives the payment details, the email on the order, and the plan purchased. Stripe’s own privacy policy describes how it handles that information.
A file you upload is used to prepare your plan and to do the work you purchased. It is not used for advertising. When the business Google Drive is connected, the file is stored there, under a folder for your name. When it is not, the file is stored encrypted with the account. Upload is available only after a plan is purchased, and an account can upload one file.
The site uses a session cookie so you can stay signed in. The server also receives ordinary technical data needed to deliver a page, such as the browser type and the address of the page requested. The site does not use a third-party advertising network.
We use this information to create and secure your account, take payment, prepare the plan you bought, reply to a message, and keep a record of the purchase. We also use it to prevent misuse of the site and to meet legal duties.
We do not sell personal information. We share it with the people doing the work on your file, with Stripe for payment, with Google when a file is stored in the business Drive or when you sign in with Google, and with X when you sign in with X. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the firm, a client, or the site.
Account and purchase records are kept for as long as the account is open and as long as we need them for the work, for tax records, or to handle a dispute. You may ask us to close an account by emailing consults@veteranmos.com. A file already sent for a plan may be kept until that work is finished and the firm no longer needs it.
You may review and update the profile on your account. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep. Email consults@veteranmos.com. Signing in is optional until you want an account. You do not have to upload a file, but the firm cannot review a file it does not have.
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, email consults@veteranmos.com and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the site after that date means the new version applies.
Privacy questions go to consults@veteranmos.com. VeteranMOS is based in Wyoming. The rules for using the site are in the Terms of Use.
